Removal of space around a graphic

I need to remove the white space around this button. The button is useless as I can click around it and it still does and action in android studio even if the background was set to transparent. I just need help on how to remove everything except just the button graphic if you get what I mean?

I think I need to somehow remove the transparent area around the button so the blue lines which define the overall size of the graphic are surrounding just the button.
