Opening 21600 x 21600 pixel image error [on hold]

Need to open a very large cloud image in photoshop, 21600 pixels square, image is only 107,162 KB. Goes through opening png process then errors at about 75% saying "Could not complete your request because the file-format module cannot parse the file." I NEED to open this file. Tried drag and dropping, tried importing, tried open as, tried placing, all the same error. What can I do? This is the East image off the NASA website, Blue Marble series. http://ift.tt/1AkjwpD
