Half of the type layers turned 'scrappy', how do I fix the typeface?! Not all went corrupt!

This is happening in Photoshop CC

The font looks damaged, and it has nothing to do with screen quality (like in indesign), because it renders out with that same damaged look.

I can copy the text above and edit it all again, but is there a faster solution to this?

How can I fix this strange 'scrappy' looking font? It might have something to do with the type layer. Half of the type layers turned 'scrappy' after I reopened the photoshop file.

The same thing happened to an icon (non-type layer) :O :(
