The logo is blurry after putting it into a smaller banner resolution

My logo seems to be a lot fuzzier when I put it into a file banner that is much smaller in resolution (1000 x 200) to the original logo file resolution (1024 x 1024). Whats the best method to fixing this does anyone know? By the way, this is on Adobe Photoshop CC
