Why the space before/after; drop cap number of lines function disappeared?

When I editing text in ID CS6, every time when I click a text box the four function panel including "space before", "space after", "drop cap number pf lines" and "drop cap one or more characters" just disappeared (See fig below).

But if I click a blank area, they are back as normal!

I tried to set drop cap one character function by ALT+Ctrl+R, nothing happened. Anybody can help me here? Thanks a lot!
