Website designed in InDesign how do I transfer it to PSD thats not tedious and time consuming?

Created my website design in Indesign. Developer wants it in PSD. What would be the most time efficient way to transfer the file to PSD? or can the developer just work with the Indesign file & must it be organised in layers then?
