Photoshop Edge Bleeding

Hi guys,

i'm having some trouble with some photoshop files I've been saving as .png's and .jpegs.

On some of the files, the elements around the edge have gained a werid bleed (for want of a better word). This can be seen in the top two RS's in my image. The third at the bottom is an example of how it should look.

Any ideas as to why this is happening and what can be done to avoid it?

I haven't set a bleed anywhere for these files.
