Make a font point a full word

I have a free font in .ttf and .woff form. I want to create a 'point'. By point I mean a character notation that when entered will render an element of that font. I want this newly created element to be a combination of certain 'points' in the font. e.g. Say I want that when 9 should actually be rendered how 'StackExchange' is rendered in that font. (Yes the whole word). Its not a fixed width font. Some background: I have no prior experience with design, so I apologize if I'm asking a really stupid question. Also, if this website is not the right place for this question, could I be pointed to the right place please? Any pointers would be sufficient, happy to read. I trawled through google and figured I'd spent enough time to get more pointed help.
