How to add a peper bent effect to a circular cropped Image?

Say I have a Image which is cropped in a circle shaped [O] . the remaining white background is transparent Png/gif. Now i need to add a bent effect to this NOT jus a drop shadow e diagonally vertical which i can do in WORD xD. but Something like it feels its bent from the center with left n right side having the impression of UP (unglued) and imagine a perpendicular line vertically in the center which should feel like glued to the surface. How do i do that thanxx
