problem with executing a plugin

My friend is trying to use VM sparkle and got a meesage in PSP that said Executing file open Executing select layer Unknown error occurred with command with VM Natural_Sparkle I dont know what this means..shes taken the plugin out and replaced it but same result regards Cathy
