Illustrator adds and shows stroke on text and object, but stroke color is none weight is none

I just created a circle in Illustrator CC 2014. The color swatches are a green fill, no stroke. The circle is green with a black stroke.

Same thing happening with text. I specify a color fill and no stoke, but there is definitely a stroke on the text.

Any ideas? I quite illustrator and restarted the computer. I even took the plunge and upgraded from CC --> CC 2014.
