Portfolio Website design review

I'm not sure if this is an appropriate place to post this, but I'll give it a go.

I'm looking for some constructive feedback on the design of my personal portfolio (http://ift.tt/12sZuzT). I've got a little bit of experience with Graphic Design and web development but this is my first personal project where I had no brief or client feedback and so I'm not sure how it fares (I've asked friends, but of course they're biased!)

I'd appreciate honest and constructive feedback, and any changes that you think ought or must be made
