Need to know about Gradient Tool in Adobe Illustrator

I am using Adobe Illustrator, working on a project. I need to know a little about Gradient Tool.

As you can see in this image. I want to select those colors and use in gradient effect. What I am doing right now is first selecting one color and copying hex code then pasting it in gradient.

Can I directly select colors on selected point in gradient slider?
