Gimp problem with genius mousepen i608x

I cant use pressure sensitivity feature in my graphics tablet with gimp , I did set everything up in gimp input devices , the weird thing though is that it works the first time I open gimp after booting/rebooting , but I closed gimp and opened it again it doesnt work except if I rebooted .
