Retina Display-Can anyone suggest how to literally make an image "retina display"?

Can anyone suggest how to literally make an image "retina display"? I think it doesn't depends on the camera. Does their is any software for it?

I want another suggestion. Can anyone suggest a software which can be used to insert high-quality fonts and edit an image for high-quality affects?
