Image search on OSX similar to Google image search

I'm often in the situation where a client will send me a low res image. I know I have a better version somewhere on my computer/archived storage but I can't remember what project I used it in or where it was filed and it probably has a different file name so it takes me an age to find the thing.

Is there an app for OSX that I can use to search for the image using the low resolution image I have that uses some image recognition technology? Similar to how you can upload an image to Google image search and have it find similar images. It would be good if it worked even if the image I was using was cropped differently, again Google image search deals with this really well.
