How to find out whether an Illustrator file or an object in an illustrator file has been copied from somewhere else? And it's source?

I have received an illustrator file as an entry for a competition that i had organised. But, I seriously doubt that the illustration is completely or parts of it are copied from other sources. But, I need to be sure of it. How to find out?
