When chosing the normal type tool and starting to write some text... usuallythe text is positioned nicely and I write from left to right.
Somehow this does not happen today, the text starts from the bottom right cornor and is upside down.
I am not using type on a path, this is when using the standard text tool.
Help...!
How can I edit text on a JPEG file that was emailed to me? I can figure out what program to use? It is currently saved with my pictures in my gallery, how can I move the file to a different program? I've tried and it will only let me save it to my gallery.
I have a an image of a stone tile that I would like to make several copies or iterations so that it appears as all new images are slightly different.
Any thoughts?

I can't seem to find the font for that logo. Can you try to find it? 
I'm trying to use a bunch of svg icons on something I'm designing. Photoshop doesn't process svgs, apparently. I read Illustrator does and that I can just export it into psds. That much is managable but the problem is there are 300+ icons and I thought I'd just turn them all into psds in case I ever need them in the future.
How exactly do I do that? I'm using the CS5 suite.
I’ve been looking around, and so far I haven’t found much. Most places I find also suggest using Comic Sans so I'm hesitant to take their advice.
The book will be for ages 0 — 5, so very young, most likely their parents will read it to them. The page size is 6in x 9in and there’s a good paragraph worth of text on pages that have text. Should the font be the standard size 12 as other books? Or should it be bumped up for kids? How big is to big in that case? Is there a standard for this, or is it mostly guess and check?
This is the first time I’ve illustrated a children’s book, so I have no idea. Any help is much appreciated!
