I am using a Bamboo FUN CTE-650 and Photoshop CS4. I have two related issues.
When I put electronic pen to pad and start to make a line that line doesn't appear for perhaps a quarter of a second, so I can't see the line I'm making and it is inevitably incorrect and must be erased and remade. Is this a graphics card or computer speed issue perhaps or would it possibly have to do with the USB connection of the tablet?
When I start to draw if I don't very quickly make a long line Photoshop reads it as a press and hold motion and brings up the brush options menu instead of drawing a line. This is infuriating and happens time and time again. I'm not sure if this is caused by the same problem and I wonder if there's a way to turn this stupid menu or that press/hold motion off. Making fast, awkward strokes to attempt to negate this problem is in no way an option as I'm going over my scanned in art.
