How to save a logo with a layer that has reduced opacity?

I've designed a logo that has multiple layers of gray. All of the layers except one are 100% opacity. The layer that has reduced opacity is at 75% in order to show portions of other layers below it. How can I save this as a vector file (with a transparent background) without having the reduced opacity layer losing it's intended color when placed on different backgrounds?
