What do designers use today, Mac, PC or Other and why

No Flame wars, no antagonizing others over their choices. Just say why you use what you do, what you like in YOUR machine, what you don't in YOUR machine. Try to keep it concise. nothing's off the table. It's perfectly legit to like a machine because your friends liked it.
