Export the PNG image without alpha channel in gimp

How to export the png image without alpha channel in gimp?

I have checked a lot. but i cant able to find that. I found a option to export png image without alpha channel in the Inkspace. But i am not familiar with inkspace. So, Please suggest me how to do that?

And is there any way to check a image has alpha channel in gimp?
