Shapes and text in Photoshop will randomly resize a fraction

I will have text and shapes in photoshop that will occasionally change a small fraction (i.e. 500px to 500.41px). Is there a way to have the shape snap to the pixels so that they aren't able to go between pixels. Or, turn off decimal sizes completely? All settings are default..I think.
