PDF page transitions in InDesign--compatibilty issues?

I've built an Interactive PDF with InDesign with "push" page transitions. As the file is set up now, when hitting the forward button, the new page pushes in from the right. When hitting the back button, the new page pushes in from the left.

My client informs me that when he views on his Windows PC he gets the same page transition with both buttons, that both pages push in from the right. However, I've viewed the same PDF using Acrobat Reader on both a Mac and a Windows PC with the correct results.

Sorry for sounding so vague. I've tried to Google to see if anyone else has this issue, and I've found nothing so far. Have any of you experienced this sort of incompatibility with page transitions? It's difficult for me to "fix" the issue if I can't replicate it on my end.
