I guess the question should be "Should I use Adobe Edge Animate". But that would probably be flagged by the moderators. In fact this may be flagged anyway.
In a past life, I spent a lot of time creating vector animations used Adobe Flash. I don't like to use Flash for prototyping simply because it doesn't render animated gifs well. I know how to create animations in HTML and CSS, but those can be a time sink when in the early ideation stages of design. I haven't yet tried Edge animate.
One of the things I like about Flash was that it so well integrated with Photoshop and Illustrator. If you had the same size artboards or canvas as the stage in flash, vector graphics that you pasted in would be in the same place and maintain the same style.
I know a lot of people use AfterEffects, but it has so many whistles and bells, that I'm looking for a quicker, dirtier solution.
